Appalachian Flood Relief

July 26th-28th severe flash flooding hit Appalachia. Eastern Kentucky, my beloved home, was hit particularly hard with some places getting as much as 9 inches in a span of 6 hours. This has led to many people losing everything they’ve worked their whole lives for. The death toll is at 35 (as of 5:33 pm on 8/1/22) and is still expected to rise over the coming days.

I have listed below resources for people effected by flood. I also have listed how you can help whether it is with your time, goods donations, or monetary donations. If it’s underlined then it’s a link. Click the underlined words to access more information about each cause, directions, etc.
